Job summary

Johnson Controls Inc. is seeking skilled HVAC Technicians to support commercial and ducted systems, chillers, AHUs, and rooftop units across North America.

You’ll join a safety-focused team and receive STA-certified training, tools, a company vehicle, and opportunities for advancement. You will diagnose faults, repair compressors and turbines, perform commissioning and aftermarket service, provide quotes, and work with local market mechanics while maintaining high safety and customer service

Qualifications

• Must have practical working experience on commercial and/or ducted products with strong HVAC/mechanical troubleshooting experience.
• EPA refrigerants license or equivalent licensing is required.
• Willingness to travel 10–20% to support branch customers and commissioning activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist startup, commissioning, and aftermarket service for the fast-growing HVAC business.
• Provide quotes to customers and support recommendations for efficiency improvements.
• Repair and service centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, and chiller components as needed.
• Collaborate with local market mechanics and maintain detailed communication with customers.
