Job summary

Electricity Supply Board (ESB) seeks a Professional Electrical Engineer, Substations to lead HV substation design and safety coordination for transmission and distribution projects. You will ensure deliverables on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Requirements include a degree in Electrical Engineering, strong PSDP/CDMC knowledge, and experience with HV systems. The role features Smart Working with in-person collaboration two days per week.

Qualifications

• Experience in HV transmission & distribution substations design.
• Knowledge of PSDP/CDMC processes.
• Experience with Control & Protection Systems.
• Familiarity with Power Transformers/Reactors and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality substation designs and safety coordination for HV projects.
• Attend design meetings and ensure deliverables meet time, budget and quality requirements.
• Coordinate inputs from multiple engineering disciplines and stakeholders.
• Maintain strong focus on safety and customer service in project delivery.
