Job summary

Elusav Recruitment Ltd. has an exciting opportunity for a HV SAP (Energy Marshall Lead) within a Tier 1 contractor’s MEP division in Dublin.

The role oversees a team of project-based APs across Ireland, the UK and Germany, helping shape safety and process standards in a rapidly expanding department. The Senior Authorised Person will manage HV/LV electrical systems, permits, switching schedules, and safety procedures while providing mentorship to on-site teams and supporting maintenance,

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating as a Senior Authorised Person (SAP).
• Strong knowledge of High Voltage electrical distribution systems.
• Experience managing permits, switching schedules, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Act as the designated Senior Authorised Person (SAP) for HV/LV electrical systems.
• Manage and oversee electrical switching operations and system isolations.
• Issue and control Permit-to-Work documentation.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety rules, procedures, and industry regulations.
• Authorise safe access to electrical installations and substations.
• Conduct risk assessments and support incident investigations where required.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to operational teams.
• Support planned maintenance, commissioning, and emergency response activities.

Elusav Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a HV SAP (Energy Marshall Lead) with one of Ireland’s most respected and long-standing Tier 1 construction contractors joining their growing MEP Business Unit in Dublin. Group Position.

The business has traditionally operated as a General Contractor, with a strong focus on CSA delivery and MEP works managed through specialist subcontractors. In recent years, they’ve invested heavily in developing their in-house MEP capability, which is now a key strategic priority for future growth. The division has a growing portfolio of data centre, commercial and residential projects across Ireland, the UK and Germany, with project values ranging from €50m to €500m.

The position will oversee a team of Project based APs, across projects in ireland, UK, and Germany. Excellent opportunity to make an impact within a rapidly expanding department, and influence process and standards within the business.
