An established and growing organisation is seeking an experienced HR Operations Manager to lead the delivery of a high-performing HR operations function.
This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring efficient, compliant and customer-focused HR services across the employee lifecycle, while driving continuous improvement, HR systems transformation and operational excellence.
The successful candidate will play a central role in shaping HR service delivery, enhancing employee experience and supporting the wider people strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of HR operational services across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contractual changes, absence management, leave administration and offboarding.
- Develop, standardise and continuously improve HR policies, processes and service standards.
- Own and enhance joiner, mover and leaver processes to ensure a consistent employee experience.
- Identify opportunities for automation, simplification and operational efficiency across HR activities.
- Manage end-to-end talent acquisition activity and drive improvements to hiring processes.
- Lead the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures and compliance frameworks.
- Oversee HR reporting and people analytics, providing meaningful data and insights to support business decision-making.
- Act as the operational lead for HR systems, ensuring data accuracy, governance and compliance.
- Support the implementation of a new HRIS and drive adoption of digital HR solutions.
- Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to deliver strategic people initiatives and change programmes.
- Lead and develop a high-performing HR operations team.
About You
You will bring a blend of operational excellence, people leadership and commercial awareness, with the ability to improve processes while maintaining a strong employee focus.
- Degree qualified in HR, Business or a related discipline.
- Minimum five years' experience leading an HR Operations function.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, employment lifecycle administration and HR best practice.
- Proven experience driving process improvement and operational change.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated people management and team leadership capability.
- Experience implementing HRIS and/or payroll systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
