Job summary

James Whelan Butchers is seeking a People & Culture Officer / HR Generalist to join our team in Clonmel. This on-site, full-time role supports the full employee lifecycle across retail and production operations.

The ideal candidate has HR Generalist experience, strong knowledge of Irish employment law, excellent organisational and communication skills, and a commitment to confidentiality and teamwork. This is a family business with opportunities for growth.

• Supporting recruitment, onboarding and employee induction processes.

• Supporting training, performance and engagement initiatives.

People & Culture Officer / HR Generalist

Clonmel, Co. Tipperary | Full-Time | On-Site

At James Whelan Butchers, we are currently seeking a motivated and people-focused People & Culture Officer / HR Generalist to join our growing People & Culture team in Clonmel. This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and wants to play a key role in supporting our teams across the business.

Due to the fully on-site nature of this role, the successful candidate will reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, you will support the full employee lifecycle, working closely with managers and colleagues across our retail and production operations.

Key responsibilities

• Supporting recruitment, onboarding and employee induction processes
