Job summary

Vision Built, a Sisk Company, seeks a Health, Safety & Sustainability Manager to drive a strong HSE culture across its Irish construction projects. You will provide practical health, safety and environmental support, ensuring compliance with company standards and legislation.

Work with project teams to implement the VB OHS and Environmental management systems, review RAMS, and deliver training. You will contribute to continuous improvement and support tender activities where required.

Qualifications

• Tech IOSH qualification and 4+ years in construction.
• 4+ years as Health & Safety professional with site experience.
• Strong IT and reporting skills with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide HSE advice and support to project teams across multiple projects.
• Implement VB OHS and Environmental management system requirements.
• Attend site and supplier meetings; review RAMS and permits.
• Carry out audits and inspections of Vision Built projects.
• Report H&S and environmental metrics across systems.
• Coordinate training for the project team on Health, Safety and environment.
• Support continuous improvement of management systems.
• Assist tender and prequalification teams as required.
• Monitor regulatory changes and communicate impacts.
• Provide HSE guidance to site stakeholders.
• Lead incident reporting and investigation.

Our team combines innovation with practical construction expertise to deliver projects safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.We are seeking a Health, Safety & Sustainability Manager to help drive a strong culture of health, safety and sustainability across our construction projects. Working closely with project teams and stakeholders, you will provide practical HSE support, ensure compliance with company standards and legislation, and contribute to the safe and successful delivery of projects across Ireland. Responsibilities

• Provide Health, Safety and Environmental advice and support to project delivery teams and stakeholders across 2-4 projects.
• Implementation of the VB OHS and Environmental management system requirements.
• Attend relevant site meetings including start up meetings, project meetings and supply chain meetings.
• Review of contractor RAMS, SPAs, supporting plans, permits and training records.
• Carry out audits/inspections of Vision Built projects in line with management system.
• Internal reporting of H&S and Environmental metrics on various systems including Msite, Econoline and Smart waste.
• Manage training needs of the project team for Health, Safety and including delivery of courses where appropriate.
• Support the VB Head of Health, Safety and Sustainability in continual improvement of the management systems.
• Assist tender and prequalification teams where required.
• Be aware of critical legislative changes and best practices to enable the provision of competent.
• Health, Safety and Environmental advice to the site stakeholders.
• Incident reporting and investigation.

Experience

• Tech IOSH
• At least 4 years in construction industry
• At least 4 years as a Health and Safety professional
• Time Management and Organisation Skills
• Interpersonal and engagement skills
• Understand performance management
• Strong IT skills in MS Office tools and OHS/Env reporting systems
• Full clean drivers licence
