Job summary

St James’s Hospital in Ireland seeks a CNM II Haematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation & Cellular Therapy Coordinator to lead nursing across HSCT pathways. The role focuses on expert assessment, coordination of care, advocacy and teamwork within the multidisciplinary HSCT and cellular therapy programme.

You will drive service development, quality improvement, education, audit and research to support best practice and regulatory compliance, benefiting patients and donors within a national centre

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse with The Nursing Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) registration or eligible to register.
• Minimum of five years post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting or relevant clinical area within the last seven years.
• Demonstrate management experience in the last two years.
• Minimum of four years’ experience in Haematology, Apheresis or HSCT & cellular therapy nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing leadership and coordination across HSCT pathways.
• Lead service development, quality improvement, education, audit and research.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care for patients and donors, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Comply with regulatory requirements and EU directives relevant to HSCT.
