As HR Officer, you will report to the Senior HR Manager. You'll play a central role in supporting core HR operations - from recruitment to employee relations, compliance, and day-to-day administration. The position works closely with all levels of staff and management and involves supporting ongoing HR projects.
Advise management and staff on company policies and employee relations matters
Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for all departments
Ensure timely and accurate completion of all HR administrative tasks
Lead regular meetings with production managers
Manage grievance and disciplinary processes as required
Deliver employee inductions and ensure training compliance
Liaise with payroll regarding recruitment, promotions, and leavers
Maintain and update the HR system (absence, new starters/leavers, payroll changes)
Extract and analyse HR data for reports (payroll, attendance, KPIs)
Represent HR at meetings internally and with third parties
Draft HR correspondence and policy documents
Suggest and implement improvements to existing systems/processes
Oversee regular HR reporting and monitor permit renewals/expiries
Participate in HR-related projects as assigned
Minimum 3 years' experience in an HR Officer/Executive role in a busy environment
Thorough knowledge of employment legislation
Strong communication and conflict management skills
Approachable, trustworthy, and highly organised
Intermediate-level IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, HR systems)
