Job summary

Collins McNicholas Recruitment & HR Services Group is seeking an HR Officer in Naas, Co. Kildare. The role provides broad HR support with emphasis on employee relations, performance and absence management, and HR compliance.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in a generalist HR role, and strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation. Hybrid working is offered, with a salary up to €45,000.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years' experience in a generalist HR role.
• Strong experience in employee relations including disciplinary and grievance processes.
• Knowledge of Irish employment legislation and HR best practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide generalist HR support across the full employee lifecycle.
• Act as a key point of contact for employees and managers on HR policies and queries.
• Advise and support managers on employee relations, investigations, and performance management.
• Manage workplace investigations and ensure fair handling per policy and legislation.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, contracts, and HR administration.
• Maintain confidential records and GDPR compliance.
• Prepare HR reports and metrics including headcount and turnover.
• Support payroll administration and provide accurate employee information.
• Assist with HR policies, engagement initiatives, and HR projects.
• Build strong relationships with employees, managers and stakeholders.
