Job summary

Portfolio Group in Dublin is seeking an Employment Law Business Partner to deliver HR and employment law guidance to clients on-site. The permanent role offers a salary up to €60K DOE plus benefits.

You will own cases to resolution, build client rapport, and provide accurate, commercially-focused advice via phone, video, or email while meeting KPIs and SLAs. On-site in Dublin city with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level in HR, law or related business discipline.
• Experience in employment law or employee relations-focused HR role is valued.
• Strong written and oral communication with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and commercially focused HR and employment law advice to clients.
• Actively own cases to resolution, logging all advice in the internal system.
• Deliver advice predominantly by telephone with email/video interactions.
• Present HR and employment law training to client and non-client groups.
• Generate daily and weekly reports and support other departments as needed.

Employment Law Business Partner

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a global business as an Employment Law Business Partner .This business is a leading HR Consultancy, who is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic employment law expert who will be responsible for providing HR and Employment Law advice to clients, to actively own cases to resolution, building rapport and relationships with clients on each interaction

You will join them onsite five days a week in vibrant office in Dublin City. This is a permanent role that offers a salary up to €60K DOE + benefits.

Job Purpose

The role of Employment Law Consultant is to provide clients is to provide accurate and commercially focused advice to clients on all related aspects of HR and employment law

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Ensure that personal knowledge of HR and Employment Law and best practice is continually updated, referring to Company training and updates to ensure that advice provided is compliant with our services.


• Achieve measured set KPIs to support all clients with quality sound advice in a productive manner within set SLAs. The delivery of advice will take place predominantly by telephone, with additional interactions through email and video conference.


• To actively own cases to resolution, building rapport and relationships with clients on each interaction.


• To log all advice accurately onto the bespoke internal system, taking ownership and responsibility for ongoing cases.


• To provide clients with supporting information/documentation to assist them in the advice provided.


• Ensuring advice given is consistent with the client’s HR documentation and internal policies.


• Follow internal protocols for managing and escalating cases where applicable.


• Effective management of a changing portfolio of on-going and complex client cases through the provision of guidance and support to the client.


• Present HR and employment law training to client and non-client groups via video conference or in person.


• To be flexible and adaptable in order to ensure the client’s service is always of a high standard.


• To offer the client options regarding the take up of other products we provide and make such recommendations accordingly.


• Assist other departments when required, in particular the HR Consultancy department in the provision and updating of employment contracts and handbooks.


• Produce daily and weekly reports as required.


• Carry out other tasks that are deemed necessary by the Management Team

What you Bring to the Team

• Educated to degree level in HR, law or related business discipline, or with relevant experience in employment law or an employee relations-focused HR role.


• Excellent written and oral communication skills, delivering technical information and commercial advice as well as empathy to clients, and provide outstanding attention to detail.


• Strongly focussed on delivering an excellent client experience at all stages.


• A positive approach in a fast-moving, busy team environment.
