Job summary

Joe Duffy Group is seeking a reliable Housekeeper for our Airside, Swords facility to maintain pristine showrooms, offices, and restrooms. The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work a 4-hour daily shift on-site.

Experience in commercial cleaning is preferred. The position includes duties from general cleaning to safe waste handling, with a part-time 20-hour weekly arrangement and Ireland work visa/authorization as a requirement.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping.
• High standard of cleanliness and pride in presentation.
• Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently during a 4-hour daily shift.
• Able to stand, bend, and perform light lifting during the shift.
• Ability to follow health and safety guidelines and chemical handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• General Cleaning: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors in showrooms, offices and walkways.
• Sanitising: Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, door handles, handrails and staff areas.
• Restrooms: Clean, sanitize and restock with paper products and soap daily.
• Waste Management: Empty bins, collect general and recyclable waste, replace liners.
• Showroom Presentation: Dust and wipe displays, furniture and lounge areas for a pristine look.
• Inventory Control: Monitor supplies and notify management when reordering is needed.
• Maintenance Reporting: Report damages or hazards to Head of Business immediately.

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain the high standards of cleanliness and presentation in our Airside, Swords facility. You will ensure that our showrooms, customer waiting areas, offices, and restrooms are spotless, safe, and welcoming for both customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• General Cleaning: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors throughout showrooms, offices, and walkways


• Sanitising: Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, door handles, handrails, and communal staff area


• Restrooms: Thoroughly clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms with paper products and soap daily


• Waste Management: Empty bins, collect general and recyclable waste, and replace liners


• Showroom Presentation: Dust and wipe down displays, furniture, and customer lounge areas to maintain a pristine environment


• Inventory Control: Monitor cleaning supplies and notify management when reordering is necessary


• Maintenance Reporting: Report any facility damages, maintenance issues, or safety hazards immediately to the Head of Business

Requirements:

• Experience: Previous experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping is preferred.


• Attention to Detail: High standard of cleanliness and pride in presentation.


• Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently during the 4-hour daily shift.


• Physical Fitness: Capable of standing, bending, and performing light lifting (such as emptying bins or pushing a vacuum) for the duration of the shift.


• Safety Awareness: Ability to follow health and safety guidelines and proper chemical handling procedures

A part-time 20 hour per week work VISA/authorisation for Ireland is an essential requirement for this role.
