Job summary

The Rose Hotel in Tralee is seeking a Hotel Porter to join the Portering team on a full-time basis. The role covers support across Conference & Banqueting, Food & Beverage and Front Office, with duties including setting up meeting rooms, assisting guests, and maintaining clean public areas.

You will work a 5-day roster with varying hours, including weekends and public holidays. Experience in a similar role is an advantage, and fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role in a busy 4 star hotel
• Must be fluent in English
• Must be able to work flexible hours/days
• Manual handling completed

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down of meeting rooms and function spaces
• Maintain clean and safe front-of-house and public areas
• Support catering requirements and refreshment service where needed
• Provide luggage porterage and assistance to guests
• Assist with daily exterior cleaning tasks as assigned
• Support Food & Beverage service when required
• Keep conference and banqueting storage areas orderly
• Carry out other duties as requested by management
