Job summary

The Anner Hotel, Thurles, part of the Windward Management portfolio, seeks an experienced Finance Leader to oversee all financial functions of the hotel. You will partner with the GM and senior team to drive KPI achievement, budgeting, forecasting and robust controls.

Ideal candidates are ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA qualified with 5+ years post-qualification experience, excellent Excel skills, and familiarity with Sage, Hotsoft, Procure Wizard and Timepoint. Hospitality experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA qualified with minimum 5 years post-qualification experience.
• Excellent Excel skills and computer literacy with multiple systems.
• Hospitality experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and control all aspects of the Finance function of the Hotel.
• Prepare Monthly Management Accounts including P&L, KPI’s, balance sheet reconciliation, and cashflow forecast.
• Lead forecasts for revenue and costs and identify risks and opportunities affecting performance.
• Prepare costings for Capital projects for Head Office approval.
• Monitor internal controls and maximise profitability through strategic input.
• Manage cashflows to ensure payments align with schedules.
• Income Audit management ensuring accuracy and no leakage of cash.
• Prepare ad hoc reports for Management and Head Office.
• Prepare annual Budgets and support audits.
