Job summary

Compass Group Ireland is seeking a Hospitality Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis, contracted to 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday. You will deliver excellent hospitality in designated meeting rooms and client areas, supporting meetings and events with a strong focus on service standards.

Ideal candidates have experience in hospitality, catering, or customer service and possess a friendly, professional, and reliable approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality hospitality service to designated meeting rooms, boardrooms, and client areas.
• Set up rooms for meetings and events with food, beverages, tableware and equipment.
• Provide timely delivery and replenishment of food and drinks during meetings and events.
• Ensure presentation standards are met with attention to cleanliness.
• Clear and clean meeting rooms promptly after use and reset for future bookings.
• Maintain high levels of customer service and client satisfaction.
• Engage professionally with clients and respond to requests.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, health & safety, and company procedures.
• Support with stock control, replenishment and reporting of shortages or issues.
• Work with catering, kitchen and on-site teams for smooth service delivery.
• Adhere to schedules and adapt to changing client requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Deliver high-quality hospitality service to designated meeting rooms, boardrooms, and client areas
• Set up rooms for meetings and events, including food, beverages, tableware, and equipment in line with service standards
• Provide timely delivery and replenishment of food and drinks during meetings and events
• Ensure presentation standards are consistently met, with attention to detail and cleanliness
• Clear and clean meeting rooms promptly after use, ensuring spaces are reset and ready for future bookings
• Maintain high levels of customer service, ensuring client satisfaction at all times
• Engage professionally with clients, responding to requests and resolving issues efficiently
• Follow food safety, hygiene, health & safety, and company procedures at all times
• Support with stock control, replenishment, and reporting of shortages or issues
• Work collaboratively with catering, kitchen, and on-site teams to ensure smooth service delivery
• Adhere to service schedules and respond flexibly to changing client requirements
