Job summary

Sodexo – Microsoft Campus, Leopardstown, Dublin is hiring a reliable Hospitality Assistant to join our on-site team. The role supports the preparation and service of food and beverages, maintains high cleanliness standards and creates a welcoming experience for customers and clients.

You will work full-time (37.5 hours) Monday to Friday on a rotating 7:00am–3:00pm and 11:00am–7:00pm schedule, at €14.15 per hour, with access to Sodexo benefits and opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality, catering or food service experience is desirable.
• Good understanding of cleanliness, hygiene and safe working practices.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
• Reliable, flexible and willing to support colleagues across the operation.
• Commitment to maintaining excellent personal hygiene and professional presentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food and beverage preparation and presentation
• Provide friendly, polite and efficient customer service
• Set up and replenish food service counters
• Support tea and coffee stations
• Assist with deliveries, including the safe handling and storage of food
• Manage stock rotation and support stock-taking when required
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and personal presentation
• Complete cleaning duties in line with the site cleaning rota and Sodexo standards
• Follow all Health & Safety, hygiene, fire and chemical safety procedures
• Support special functions and events when required
• Work flexibly across different areas and support colleagues during busy periods
• Report any incidents, accidents, customer feedback or other issues appropriately
• Participate in training and team meetings as required
