Job summary

Sodexo is looking for a reliable and customer-focused Catering Assistant to join our team in Leopardstown. This full-time role offers 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm, with a starting rate of €14.15 per hour.

You’ll support day-to-day catering operations, help with food preparation and service, maintain high cleanliness and hygiene standards, and provide friendly customer service in a busy onsite environment.

Qualifications

• Previous catering, hospitality or food service experience is desirable but not essential.
• Professional and customer-focused approach.
• Good understanding of cleanliness, hygiene and safe working practices.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food and beverage preparation, presentation and service.
• Provide friendly, professional and efficient customer service.
• Set up and replenish food service counters.
• Support tea and coffee stations and general service areas.
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, following stock rotation procedures.
• Complete cleaning duties across kitchen, dining and service areas.
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene, cleanliness and presentation.
• Follow all relevant food safety, Health & Safety and site procedures.
• Support special functions and events when required.
• Work flexibly across the operation and support colleagues during busy periods.
• Participate in training and support the induction of new colleagues where required.
