Job summary

Sodexo Group is hiring a Food Service Assistant for Dublin Airport. The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, at €14.80 per hour. You will support catering operations, assist with food prep, service, cleaning and customer care, within a fast-paced team environment.

Applicants must meet security requirements, have at least B2 English, and be able to complete Garda Vetting and Aviation Security Clearance. Career development opportunities and a comprehensive employee benefits package are offered.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and presentation of food in line with company standards.
• Serve food and beverages in a professional, friendly and efficient manner.
• Operate tills and handle customer transactions where required.
• Replenish food displays, counters and service areas throughout the day.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in dining areas, kitchens and food preparation areas.
• Wash dishes, utensils and catering equipment using manual and mechanical cleaning methods.
• Follow all food hygiene, allergen and Health & Safety procedures.
• Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries correctly.
• Monitor stock levels and notify supervisors of replenishment requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond positively to customer enquiries.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
• Support the wider catering team with additional duties as required.

Food Service Assistant

Dublin Airport - Full time

Please note: Due to airport security requirements, applicants must hold a valid passport with at least 6 months' validity remaining, have a minimum B2 level of English, and be able to successfully complete Garda Vetting and Aviation Security Clearance.
