Job summary

UPMC Ireland is seeking a Household Cleaner to undertake daily cleaning across clinical and non-clinical areas of the hospital. You will contribute to infection control and health and safety standards, performing vacuuming, dusting, floor care and waste management as part of a dedicated team.

The role requires flexible availability, strong personal presentation, and the ability to work autonomously while collaborating with colleagues to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Undertake general cleaning of all clinical and non-clinical areas of the hospital.
• Vacuuming, dusting and washing floors and walls.
• Sweep and polish floors, using scrubber/dryer and buffer.
• Remove waste to designated areas.
• Use the compactor for rubbish and cardboard.
• Wash windows, walls and ceilings.
• Dust furniture and vacuum carpets and rugs.
