Job summary

FRS Farm Relief Services in Co. Limerick is seeking a motivated Hoofcare Operator to deliver professional hoof trimming and hoof health services to our dairy and beef farming clients.

You will assess hoof health, implement treatment plans, and work closely with farmers to support animal welfare and productivity. This is a full/part-time, on-site role with training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Hoofcare Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will provide professional hoof trimming and hoof health services to dairy and beef farms, helping farmers improve animal welfare, mobility, and performance.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with livestock, travelling to farms, and building strong relationships with customers while delivering a high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine hoof trimming and corrective hoofcare on dairy and beef cattle.
• Assess hoof health and identify lameness issues.
