Job summary

Care Connect Group Ireland is seeking an experienced Homecare Nurse Manager with Paediatric and Community Nursing experience to lead and support high-quality, person-centred homecare services for children and adults with complex needs. You will oversee clinical management, develop care plans, ensure NMBI standards, supervise nursing teams, liaise with families and healthcare partners, and contribute to service improvement.

A valid NMBI registration and driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• Active NMBI registration and full driving licence.
• Minimum 3 years’ post-registration nursing experience.
• Experience in Paediatric Nursing and Community Care.
• Experience supporting children with complex healthcare needs.
• Strong clinical assessment, care planning and case management skills.
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience desirable.
• Willingness to undergo Garda Vetting.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate homecare services for paediatric and community-based clients.
• Conduct clinical assessments and develop personalised care plans.
• Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and support to nursing teams.
• Ensure compliance with NMBI standards and governance requirements.
• Monitor patient outcomes and review care plans to ensure the highest quality of care.
• Liaise with families, hospital teams, GPs, public health nurses, schools, and multidisciplinary professionals.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management of nursing staff.
• Ensure accurate documentation, incident reporting, and risk management practices.
• Participate in service development, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide on-call clinical support as required.
• Tutor experience or train the trainer qualification (need for City & Guilds).

Homecare Nurse Manager (Paediatric & Community Services)

Role Overview

Care Connect Group Ireland are seeking an experienced and motivated Homecare Nurse Manager with Paediatric and Community Nursing experience to lead and support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care within the homecare setting. The successful candidate will oversee the coordination and clinical management of care packages for children’s older persons and young people with complex healthcare/ Disabilities needs, ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate care within the community.

• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Right to work in Ireland (no sponsorship available).
• Willingness to undergo Garda Vetting.
• Experience working with disability services and community healthcare teams desirable
