We are recruiting an experienced Care Manager to lead care quality and team performance for our growing team of Home Care Support Workers. This is a senior, field-based role with real accountability and a clearly defined remit.

About Hibernia

Hibernia Home Care Group is one of Ireland's growing HSE-contracted home support providers. We deliver person-centred care to over 460 clients across Dublin, Kildare, Meath, Louth and Wicklow, supported by a workforce of more than 270 carers. We are scaling deliberately, investing in our governance, our people, and the systems that support frontline care.

We take quality seriously. We invest in supervision, training, and the structures that allow our care teams to do their work well.

The Role

Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager — Care Service & Quality, the Care Manager is accountable for the quality of care delivered to all clients in their region, and for the performance and development of the care team operating there. You will lead a team of Client Care Coordinators and Healthcare Assistants, hold the day-to-day relationship with HSE area case managers, and ensure that care planning, supervision, quality assurance, and safeguarding obligations are met to HSE service specification and HIQA standard.

This is a substantive management role. You will have delegated authority to run your region within agreed parameters and will be expected to manage it.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Overseeing quarterly QA visits and following through on findings
  • Ensuring new carers complete their mandatory shadowing before first solo visit
  • Participating in the clinical on-call rota for out-of-hours care escalation.
