Job summary

FRS Recruitment is seeking experienced Home Support Workers for a permanent role in Ireland. You will provide person-centred care to clients in their own homes, supporting daily living activities and independence.

Minimum 2 years in health or social care is required, with QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support or Level 7 Social Care qualifications encouraged. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential, with day/evening/weekend shifts offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Health or Social Care.
• Healthcare qualification equivalent to a full QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support Award or higher.
• Qualified nurses and Level 7 Social Care qualifications encouraged.
• Experience providing personal care.
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Availability to work day, evening and weekend shifts.
• Good command of the English language, both spoken and written.

The Role

As a Home Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to clients in their own homes.

Your responsibilities will include:

To be considered for this position, candidates must have:

• Minimum 2 years' experience working in Health or Social Care, including supporting individuals with disabilities and/or older people
• A relevant healthcare qualification equivalent to a full QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support Award or higher
• Qualified Nurses and candidates with relevant Level 7 Social Care qualifications are also encouraged to apply
• Experience providing personal care
• Good knowledge of infection prevention and control
• Good command of the English language, both spoken and written
• Full clean driving licence
• Access to a vehicle
• Availability to work day, evening and weekend shifts
• Good communication, interpersonal and practical care skills
• A reliable, flexible and caring approach
• A commitment to providing respectful, person-centred care

The following would be advantageous:

• Epilepsy Training
