Job summary

B&Q Galway is seeking a Customer Advisor to join our team on a 6 month fixed term, part-time basis (12 hours per week). You’ll help customers, stock shelves, and keep displays looking great, with training in paint-mixing and timber cutting available.

The role requires good people skills, enthusiasm for home improvement, and flexibility to work a rota including weekends, evenings and bank holidays. Notably, a starting hourly rate is €15.45, with Sunday premium.

Responsibilities

• Becoming an expert advisor who helps customers and guides their home improvement projects.
• Sales will be important, as will managing stock, setting up displays, and keeping the store looking great.
• You’ll have the opportunity to be trained in paint-mixing and cutting timber, with customer service as the main aim.
