Job summary

Requirements include An Bord Altranais registration and 2–3 years post-registration experience in acute or community settings, cannulation and phlebotomy skills, plus a full clean driving licence and access to your own car.

Qualifications

• Active nursing registration with An Bord Altranais.
• 2–3 years post-registration experience in acute or community settings.
• Cannulation and phlebotomy experience.
• Interest in community-based nursing.
• Full clean driver’s licence and access to own car.
• Willingness to travel across assigned regions.
• Basic IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Cover patient care needs across multiple locations.
• Deliver treatments in home or community settings.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Complete electronic nursing records accurately and in a timely manner.
• Report adverse events, product complaints and clinical incidents as per policy.
• Demonstrate strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Work independently while contributing to a wider team.
• Show flexibility and adaptability to changing schedules and locations.
• Maintain high standards of time management and clinical judgement.
• Travel to patient locations as required.
