Job summary

Irish HomeCare is seeking qualified Healthcare Assistants to join our team in Tuam, Co. Galway. You will provide home care services to clients in their own homes, helping with daily living tasks.

The role requires Level 5 QQI Health or Social Care, care experience, and a full driving licence. Excellent English communication and a compassionate approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in care or healthcare.
• QQI Level 5 Health or Social Care required.
• Geriatric health knowledge.
• Full Irish driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal, non-medical care in clients' homes.
• Assist with physical, nutritional and social needs per Care Plan.
• Help with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, mobility and meals.
• Support independence and dignity in home settings.
