Job summary

Irish HomeCare in Ireland seeks qualified Healthcare Assistants to join our growing team serving Offaly and surrounding areas. You will provide personal, non‑medical care in clients’ homes, assisting with daily living tasks, mobility, nutrition and daily routines according to each Care Plan.

Applicants must hold QQI Level 5 Health or Social Care, have at least 2 years’ experience in care, a full Irish driving licence with access to a vehicle, and strong verbal and written English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of care experience
• Full Irish driving licence with access to a vehicle
• Excellent English in speaking and writing

Responsibilities

• Provide personal, non-medical care and assistance to clients in their own homes
• Assist with clients' physical, nutritional and social needs as outlined in their Care Plan
• Provide personal care (washing, dressing, continence care), mobilise, assist with feeding, meal preparation, light housekeeping
