Job summary

Irish HomeCare is seeking qualified Healthcare Assistants to join our team in Limerick. You will provide in-home care, support clients with daily activities and follow Care Plans to ensure comfort and safety.

Requirements include Level 5 QQI Health or Social Care, at least 2 years' experience, and a full Irish driving licence with access to a vehicle. The role is 39 hours per week with varied shifts, including weekends. Salary is €32,691 per annum.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of care experience.
• QQI Level 5 in Health or Social Care (or equivalent).
• Strong English communication – both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal, non-medical care in clients' homes.
• Assist with physical, nutritional and social needs per Care Plan.
• Assist with bathing, dressing and continence care.
• Mobilise clients and assist with feeding and light housekeeping.
