Job summary

Aviva Private Clients in Ireland is seeking an experienced Underwriter to manage High Net Worth Home and Motor business and build strong broker relationships. You will balance risk and profitability while delivering excellent outcomes for brokers and customers, and contribute to portfolio initiatives and industry engagement.

You will underwrite new business, renewals and mid-term amendments, develop broker panels and collaborate with Claims, Sales and Risk teams to drive performance and customer

Qualifications

• CIP qualified or actively working towards CIP qualification.
• Experience in personal lines underwriting.
• Strong understanding of underwriting principles and risk assessment.
• Experience underwriting Home and/or Motor risks; HNW experience is beneficial.
• Ability to build and manage broker relationships and negotiate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new business, renewals and mid-term adjustments for HNW Home and Motor.
• Manage and develop relationships with an allocated broker panel.
• Make informed underwriting decisions balancing risk, profitability and customer outcomes.
• Collaborate with Claims, Sales and Risk Management to support portfolio performance.
• Contribute to underwriting initiatives and continuous improvement across Aviva Private Clients.
