Job summary

Leading Irish Main Contractor is seeking a Setting Out Engineer to join its team on a historic landmark redevelopment in Co. Clare.

The role offers a salary range of €50,000–€60,000 plus vehicle, fuel and matched pension, with a supportive environment and mentoring as you gain experience. You will perform setting out and surveying across the development using Total Station and GPS, ensuring accuracy with drawings and design information, while collaborating with the site team to resolve technical

Qualifications

Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
2+ years of experience as a Site Engineer or Setting Out Engineer in Ireland.
Experience with Total Station and GPS equipment.
Experience on refurbishment or conservation projects advantageous.

Responsibilities

Setting out and surveying works across the development using Total Station and GPS equipment.
Ensuring works are completed accurately and in accordance with drawings, specifications and design information.
Carrying out levels, coordinates, as-built surveys and other engineering checks.
Working closely with the Site Manager, Senior Engineer, subcontractors and design team to resolve technical issues.
