Morgan McKinley is recruiting a Design Manager to take a lead role on a major high-rise residential development in Cork City. You will oversee the design process from pre-construction to delivery, coordinating with clients, consultants and subcontractors to ensure timely, on-budget, high-quality design information.

Applicants should have a degree in Engineering or Architecture and 5+ years in design management, preferably with Tier 1 contractors or large-scale developers.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5+ years' experience in a Design Manager or similar role, ideally with Tier 1 contractors or large-scale developers.
• Strong track record delivering complex residential or commercial projects, with high-rise experience desirable.

• Lead and manage the design process for a high-rise residential project.
• Coordinate between consultants, subcontractors, and the in-house project team.
• Ensure design deliverables are issued in line with programme and project requirements.
• Manage design risks and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Monitor compliance with building regulations, planning conditions, and contractual obligations.
• Drive value engineering while maintaining quality standards.
• Report directly to the Project Director and contribute to project strategy.
