Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals Ireland is seeking a skilled HGV Driver Plant and MEWP Loader/Unloaderto join our team in Dublin to ensure timely collection and deliveries from customer sites while meeting customer expectations.

The role requires a Class C license with up to 6 points, CPC, tachograph card, and a proactive safety approach. You will load and unload rental equipment, visit customer premises, and ensure legal and company safety standards are followed.

Qualifications

• Class C driving license with no more than 6 points.
• CPC Certification.
• Tachograph card.
• Safe Pass is advantageous; training can be provided.
• Proactive approach to safety of company vehicles and drivers.
• Polite manner when visiting customer premises.
• Good geographical knowledge and industry experience (desirable).
• IT systems familiarity (desirable).
• FORS compliant (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Operating commercial vehicles for transportation of goods.
• Ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy before journeys and load security.
• Load and unload rental, electrical and powered access equipment including heavy plant.
• Visiting customer locations and communicating with internal/external customers.
• Ensuring legal and company safety requirements are followed at all times.

About The Role

Are you ready to be a part of our rapidly developing business. We are looking for a talented HGV Driver Plant and MEWP Load/ Unload to join our team to ensure timely collection and deliveries from customer sites whilst consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.What will you be doing?

• Operating commercial vehicles for the transportation of goods
• Ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy before commencing any journey, as well as the safe loading, unloading and security of the vehicle load
• Load and unload rental, electrical and powered access equipment including heavy plant
• Visiting customer locations, communicating with both internal and external customers
• Ensuring that the legal and company safety requirements, alongside the working time directive regulations are adhered to at all time
