Job summary

Qualifications

• CPC certification is required.

• Safe Pass is advantageous, training can be provided.
• Good geographical knowledge and a proactive safety approach.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles for transportation of goods.
• Ensure vehicle is safe and roadworthy before journeys and secure load.
• Load and unload rental, electrical and powered access equipment including heavy plant.
• Visit customer locations and communicate with internal and external customers.

About The Role Are you ready to be a part of a rapidly developing business. We are looking for a talented HGV Driver Plant and MEWP Load/Unload to join our team to ensure timely collection and deliveries from customer sites whilst consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

What will you be doing?

• Operating commercial vehicles for the transportation of goods
• Ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy before commencing any journey, as well as the safe loading, unloading and security of the vehicle load
• Load and unload rental, electrical and powered access equipment including heavy plant
• Visiting customer locations, communicating with both internal and external customers
• Ensuring that the legal and company safety requirements, alongside the working time directive regulations are adhered to at all time

About You

What are we looking for?

• Minimum of class C driving license
• CPC Certified
• Tachograph card
• Safe Pass is advantageous, however training can be provided
• Proactive approach to safety of company vehicles and other drivers
• A polite manner at all times when visiting customer premises
• Good geographical knowledge
