Quest Recruitment's client, an independent Financial Services provider in Ireland, is seeking a high-caliber Fund Accounting Senior Manager to lead a ten-strong team from Dublin or remotely. You will set strategic direction, oversee BAU activities (NAVs, pricing, performance fees, P&L allocations) and drive performance through robust controls and risk management.

Job description

My client, a long established independent Financial Services provider is currently seeking to add to their Leadership Team. A company with an extremely capable, experienced and tenured Senior Management team who have well defined plans for team and company growth in their Dublin Office. They are a technologically pioneering, client centric organisation underpinned by their commitment to superior client service.

This role can be fully remote provided your normal place of residence is Ireland.

About the Role

In the role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the teams of c. 10 are a high performing, efficient unit. You will provide strategic direction and provide operational oversight to the teams workflows, have ultimate responsibility for the teams' BAU (NAVs, performance fees, pricing, P&L allocations etc). You will partake in your team’s goal setting, one to one meetings and annual appraisals.

Change management and Project work will take up a portion of your role which will require you to plan, develop and roll out a variety of initiatives across local and wider afield departments. You’ll need to keep close to risk & controls and perform quarterly risk reviews ensuring robust controls are in place.

You are the key client contact and will work closely with clients to provide soluctions to their needs, and offer advise on fund launches.

You’ll be a hands-on, ambitious and motivated Fund Accounting Senor Manager, or an experienced Manager who is ready for the next step. One who exudes professionalism and integrity and comfortable in leading teams, engaging and facing high profile clients striving for high quality service. Knowledge of complex investment types, regulatory requirements, and performance fee methodologies would be sought after.
