Job summary

Enva in Naas, Co. Kildare, seeks an experienced Heavy Equipment Operative to join our busy operations team. You will operate a range of plant and machinery at a modern waste recovery and soil treatment facility, with regular daytime hours and a stable permanent contract.

The role requires a 360 excavator ticket (bulldozer ticket desirable), safety‑consciousness, reliability and ability to work in a team. You’ll perform equipment checks, assist with site operations and maintain high housekeeping,

Qualifications

• 360 excavator ticket is a must-have.

• Willing to maintain machinery/equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators and other mobile plant on site.
• Support wash plant ops and manage soil/waste materials.
• Carry out daily equipment checks and basic maintenance.
• Maintain high housekeeping and safety standards.
• Follow SOPs and waste licence; complete required paperwork.

Description

Enva is seeking an experienced and motivated Heavy Equipment Operative to join our established operations team in Naas, Co. Kildare. This is a permanent, full-time role offering excellent job security, regular daytime hours, and the opportunity to operate a wide range of modern plant and machinery within a busy waste recovery and soil treatment facility.

The role is for normal week Mon – Fri 08:00 – 5pm

Key Responsibilities

• Excavators
• Wheeled Loaders
• Agricultural Tractors
• Dumper Trucks
• Bulldozers
• Bobcats
• Other mobile plant as required

You will also:

• Support the site's wash plant operations.
• Receive, process, and manage incoming soil and waste materials.
• Carry out daily equipment checks and basic maintenance inspections.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards across the site.
• Work closely with supervisors and site management to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Contribute to a safe, efficient, and environmentally compliant workplace.
• Conduct your duties in accordance with company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and the company’s waste licence
• Complete all paperwork and administration necessary as requested by your supervisor or as the business needs dictate
• Adhere to the company’s Health and Safety policy and procedures at all times, including but not limited to:
• Wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E.) at all times
• Highlight any safety concerns to your Manager immediately and to report any accidents/ incidents to your Manager immediately

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a 360 excavator ticket at a minimum. A bulldozer ticket is desirable.
• Be safety-conscious and committed to maintaining high operational standards.
• Be reliable, flexible, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Take pride in maintaining machinery and equipment in good working order.
• Have a positive attitude and willingness to support various site operations as required.
