Enva in Ireland is seeking an Industrial Operative with driving duties. The role blends heavy industrial cleaning with driving responsibilities, including time-and-a-half and double-time overtime structures, plus a range of allowances.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid driving licences (Class C/CE) with a current Driver CPC and a valid Digital Tachograph card.

Responsibilities

• Industrial Cleaning: heavy projects including interceptors, drains, and tanks.
• Confined Space Operations: safe entry and cleaning in confined spaces.
• Fleet Operation: driving company vehicles including HGVs for waste services.
• Emergency Response support for spills or environmental remediation.
• Technical & Civils support: drainage rehab, basic civils, CCTV surveys.
• Brand Representation: maintain professional image with customers and site management.

This is a hands-on role, duties are split 80% Industrial Operative work and 20% Driving. You will be performing heavy-duty industrial cleaning operations, entering confined spaces, and wearing full safety gear and breathing apparatus.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Driving Credentials (Mandatory): You must hold a valid commercial Driving Licence (Class C or CE), a fully valid and up-to-date Driver CPC, and an active Digital Tachograph card.
• Safety Compliance (Critical): You must be willing to be clean-shaven when required to ensure a perfect, airtight seal for full-face breathing masks and specialized protective safety gear.
• Physical Capability: Completely comfortable working in industrial environments, within confined spaces, and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Reliability: A strong personal commitment to maintaining a Safety-First Culture across the business at all times.
• Bonus (Desirable but not essential): Previous experience in drainage, civils, high-pressure water jetting, vacuum tankers, or holding a live ADR/Confined Space certificate is a major plus.
