Job summary

Enva's Water and Industrial Services division in Ireland is seeking a Graduate Engineer to join our Portlaoise team, with opportunities to work across Dublin and Cork. The role spans engineering, surveying and monitoring support to ongoing projects aimed at expanding our Industrial Services footprint.

The successful candidate will hold a strong engineering or surveying degree and be proficient with MS Office; experience with Autocad, GIS and Navisworks is advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Strong engineering or surveying degree.
  • Experience in the delivery of surveys, interim and final reports.
  • Good report writing skills and proficiency with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience using Autocad, GIS and Mapinfo.
  • Navisworks and Autocad 3D Civil experience is beneficial.
  • Ability to understand technical and operational issues in water, wastewater, environmental, construction or waste sectors.
  • Assist Contracts managers to safely, compliantly and profitably manage projects.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver surveys, interim and final reports.
  • Support engineering, surveying and monitoring on active projects.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors and regulators to track progress.
  • Ensure operations comply with contract requirements.

Enva’s Water and Industrial Services division provides a range of expert services to industry and municipalities across Ireland. We solve complex decommissioning, surveying and inspections, industrial cleaning and decontamination problems for our customers in industries such as Construction, Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing and Services using the latest technologies, equipment and fleet, highly trained personnel and expert project management.

Our services are designed to minimise downtime and business disruption whilst protecting against health, safety and environmental issues. Tailored to the individual needs of our large customer base and the specifics of the site, we provide clear operating plans and carefully risk assess every project.

Key Responsibilities

Due to continued growth, expanded and new contracts, Enva have an extremely exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Graduate Engineer to join our Water and Industrial Services team, working from our Dublin/Portlaoise/Cork office.

The role encompasses engineering, surveying and monitoring support to the existing project team in current works to grow the Industrial Services business into a further established player in the Industrial services and engineering industries.

This role may suit a Graduate engineer from a civil engineering, mechanical engineering, surveying, construction management discipline looking to work within the water or wastewater sector, environmental, construction or the Waste sector. The role requires initiative, drive and dedication to ensure that client expectations are met and offers significant potential for rapid personal growth and development. The role duties and requirements include;

  • Strong engineering or surveying primary degree
  • Instrumental in delivery of surveys, interim reports and final reports.
  • Good report writing skills, proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in the use of Autocad, GIS and Mapinfo
  • Navisworks and Autocad 3d Civil experience
  • Ability to quickly understand the technical and operational issues facing the environmental, construction, water and waste-water sector
  • Assist Contracts managers in all duties required to safely, compliantly and profitably manage the project operations.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, regulatory bodies and other stake holders, to monitor project programmes.
  • Assist in the day to day management of key client contacts, completing project reports and keeping clients up to date as operations progress.
  • Ensuring operations are carried out in accordance with the contract requirements.
  • Research and support new initiatives to maintain Enva Industrial Services position as an innovator and a forward thinker in the water services sector within Ireland.
  • Identify new technologies which improve the service offering and works efficiency
