Job summary

OhioHealth in Ireland is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the performance of staff in Plant Operations, including buildings, plumbing, electrical and HVAC, ensuring reliable, compliant facilities 24/7.

You will lead staffing, scheduling, safety standards, budgets, and capital projects, coordinating with directors and other departments to minimize outages and maintain regulatory compliance. A high school diploma and a technical degree with healthcare operations experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Two year technical degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 5+ yrs experience in a skilled trade; healthcare engineering operations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily job performance of associates in Plant Operations and related facilities teams, assigns work, monitors performance, and ensures safety and policy compliance.
• Manages operational budgets, tracks expenses vs. budget, and advises on annual budget and supply costs.
• Develops preventive maintenance plans, schedules routine maintenance, and maintains records to ensure reliable operations and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participates in capital construction, improvement and replacement projects, estimates from contractors, and coordination of utility interruptions.
