Job summary

Drug Mart in the medical building is seeking a Manager to oversee daily operations, budgeting, inventory, and staff in a healthcare-adjacent retail setting. You will ensure regulatory compliance, maintain safety, and deliver compassionate service to patients, families, and staff.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the pharmacy, supervising staff, and managing inventory across product categories while upholding health authority standards and tobacco regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Food Handler Certification.
• Experience managing budgets.
• Knowledge of food safety, health authority, and tobacco compliance requirements.
• Willingness to obtain tobacco retailer licensing and compliance with provincial tobacco control regulations.
• Significant experience leading a team in retail, convenience, and/or grocery.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the management and day-to-day operations of the Drug Mart in the medical building.
• Administer budgets and financial transactions, including cash handling and reporting.
• Prepare and analyze weekly/monthly sales reports and financial statements.
• Coordinate inventory management with the pharmacy.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including tobacco licensing and food safety.
