Job summary

Noel Group is recruiting Health Care Assistants to join our relief staff serving healthcare facilities across Ireland, with a focus in the Tipperary area. You will provide direct patient care, assist with daily living activities, and support mobility while upholding dignity and confidentiality.

The role requires QQI/FETAC Level 5 in Healthcare and BLS, and offers shift-based work with ongoing training and opportunities to support the HSE nationwide.

Qualifications

• QQI/FETAC Level 5 qualification in a Healthcare discipline.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to assist with mobility and daily living activities.

Responsibilities

• Carry out direct care and activities of daily living.
• Maintain personal hygiene and dietary needs of patients.
• Ensure care is empathetic and preserves patient dignity.
• Assist with patient mobility using appropriate equipment.
• Maintain confidentiality of information.

Noel Group is proud to announce our appointment as a Tier 2 supplier to the HSE, supporting healthcare facilities across Ireland. We are currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate Health Care Assistants to join our growing team of relief staff working in the public healthcare sector in the Tipperary area.

Responsibilities:

• To carry out assigned responsibilities involving direct care and all activities of daily living.
• To maintain standards of personal hygiene, dietary intake, physical and mental health.
• To ensure that care is carried out in an empathetic manner and that dignity is respected.
• To assist with patients mobility, using appropriate moving equipment when needed.
• To maintain the confidentiality of all information made available.

Requirements:

• QQI/FETAC Level 5 qualification in a Healthcare discipline
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Patient Moving & Handling
• Visa or GNIB (if applicable)
• International Police Clearance (if lived abroad 6+ months)
