Job summary

Noel Group is recruiting dedicated Health Care Assistants to join our relief team serving public healthcare facilities in the Carlow area. You will perform direct care and daily living activities, while maintaining dignity and privacy for each patient.

Applicants should have QQI/FETAC Level 5 in healthcare and BLS, with mobility support experience. Visa/GNIB and police clearance may be required depending on circumstance.

Qualifications

• QQI/FETAC Level 5 in healthcare required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) essential.
• Patient moving & handling experience preferred.
• Visa or GNIB where applicable.
• International Police Clearance if lived abroad 6+ months.

Responsibilities

• Carry out direct care and activities of daily living.
• Maintain personal hygiene and dietary intake.
• Support dignity and empathetic care at all times.
• Assist with patient mobility using equipment as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of all information.

Job description

Noel Group is proud to announce our appointment as a Tier 2 supplier to the HSE, supporting healthcare facilities across Ireland. We are currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate Health Care Assistants to join our growing team of relief staff working in the public healthcare sector in the Carlow area.

Responsibilities:

• To carry out assigned responsibilities involving direct care and all activities of daily living.
• To maintain standards of personal hygiene, dietary intake, physical and mental health.
• To ensure that care is carried out in an empathetic manner and that dignity is respected.
• To assist with patients mobility, using appropriate moving equipment when needed.
• To maintain the confidentiality of all information made available.

Requirements:

• QQI/FETAC Level 5 qualification in a Healthcare discipline
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Patient Moving & Handling
• Visa or GNIB (if applicable)
• International Police Clearance (if lived abroad 6+ months)

Salary & Benefits:

Starting at €18.01 per hour + premium shift allowance
