Job summary

Connected Health is seeking a Rapid Response Healthcare Assistant to deliver urgent, hands-on care in clients' homes across Ireland. You will support immediate needs, adapt to new care packages, and help keep clients safe, comfortable, and independent in their communities.

The role rewards proactive caregivers with competitive pay, a sign-on bonus after 3 months, and paid mileage. Prior homecare experience and a QQI Level 5 are required, with a driving licence and own car essential.

• Experience in homecare (1+ year in Ireland).
• QQI Level 5 in Health & Social Care is required.
• Driving licence + car is essential for travel between clients.

• Weekend flexibility for rota-based shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide rapid response homecare support to clients.
• Familiarise and implement new care packages.
• Monitor and report on quality of care to the area manager.
• Collect and check journal notes from clients’ homes.
• Deliver care plans and PPE to clients’ homes.
• Undertake other reasonable duties as required.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• To be responsible for staff shadowing - ensuring Health & Safety policies and procedures


• To undertake emergency over - Rapid response (filling new packages and discharges)


• To evaluate and monitor the quality of the care delivered to clients and report to the area manager with concerns


• Checking and collecting journal notes from clients houses


• Delivery of Careplans, log sheets and gloves to client\'s homes when required


• Delivery of PPE

To undertake any other reasonable duties as required*
