Job summary

Westcare Homecare Ltd invites you to join our Castlebar team as a Healthcare Assistant. You will help clients with daily tasks, support mobility, provide companionship, and monitor wellbeing in a homecare setting.

Flexible hours and local work allow you to spend real one-to-one time with clients. Driving is required, and training is provided to start your career in healthcare.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 or equivalent required.
• Caring attitude and reliability highly valued.
• Experience in care is an advantage but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with daily tasks (washing, dressing, meals).
• Support mobility and independence.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Monitor wellbeing and report concerns.

Education
