Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a meat processing factory.
• Understanding of health and safety in meat production.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Support Health & Safety Manager in developing site health and safety strategies.
• Assist with risk assessments and prepare improvement reports.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure policies are implemented.
• Maintain records of inspections and accidents and generate statistics for management.
• Provide guidance to Line Managers, Supervisors and Maintenance on safety matters.
• Assist with organising and delivering health and safety training for management and employees.
• Liaise with contractors to ensure risk assessments and site-specific method statements are in place.
• Attend and participate in safety and Lean meetings and briefings.
