Job summary

SSA Consulting Group is recruiting a Health & Safety Officer on behalf of a well-established Main Contractor for a Limerick-based role. This is a permanent position within the company, offering a competitive salary and a Company Vehicle.

The role is Limerick-based with responsibilities including reporting on safety performance, overseeing multiple sites, conducting inductions and toolbox talks, and promoting health and safety training across the site.

Qualifications

• Relevant Qualification in a related discipline.
• Min 1+ Years Health & Safety Experience.

Responsibilities

• Report on the safety performance of project teams and subcontractors and provide recommendations as such to management.
• Oversee and review site performance across several sites.
• Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks.
• Assist in the compilation of Health & Safety Documentation.
• Actively participate in the promotion of health-related risks and on-site training.
• Delivery of HSE processes, procedures, standards and systems.
• Ensure that inspection records are maintained and preserved for all activities and plant equipment.
