Job summary

Global Professional Consultants is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Officer to join our client's main construction projects across Dublin. You will carry out site inspections, audits, toolbox talks, RAMS reviews, and monitor compliance with Irish H&S legislation.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years' experience, Level 7/8 Health & Safety qualification, Safe Pass, Manual Handling, and strong communication skills. Procore or HammerTech experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years’ experience in a construction Health & Safety role.
• Level 7 or Level 8 qualification in Health & Safety.
• Strong knowledge of Irish Health & Safety legislation and construction regulations.
• Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Proactive approach with the ability to engage confidently with site teams and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

The Role:

• Carrying out regular site inspections and Health & Safety audits
• Delivering toolbox talks and supporting safety initiatives across site
• Assisting with RAMS reviews, risk assessments and site-specific safety documentation
• Monitoring compliance with Health & Safety procedures and relevant legislation
• Supporting the investigation of incidents and near misses
• Working closely with Project Managers, Site Teams and subcontractors to maintain high Health & Safety standards

Requirements:

• Main contractor experience highly desirable
• Level 7 or Level 8 qualification in Health & Safety

• Experience with Procore or HammerTech desirable
