Global Professional Consultants is seeking a Health & Safety Manager to lead safety on a major Data Centre project in Ireland. You will report to the Health & Safety Lead and drive compliance, training, incident investigations and proactive safety culture across the site.

The role requires 5+ years in a similar position, a relevant H&S qualification, and strong communication skills. Competitive salary and extensive benefits are offered, including travel and accommodation support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in a similar role.
• A relevant Health & Safety qualification.
• Team player and able to build and maintain relationships with internal and external clients.
• Flexible to change and open to constructive feedback.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
• IT Skills – Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Responsabilités

• Ensure adherence to Safety Management systems, project execution plans, and relevant EHS regulations.
• Oversee method statements, risk assessments, COSHH assessments, and permits.
• Perform H&S reporting, analyse metrics, and keep senior management informed.
• Coordinate and manage EHS training and site inductions; ensure PPE availability.
• Assist in accident investigations and oversee corrective action closure.
• Collaborate with site teams to promote a strong safety culture across all activities.
