Job summary

Global Professional Consultants seeks a Health & Safety Manager (Data Centre) to join a large North West Dublin project for a Tier 1 main contractor. You will report to the EHS Lead and ensure safe project delivery on site.

The role requires 5+ years in a similar role, a relevant Health & Safety qualification, strong written and verbal communication, and excellent organisation. Benefits include pension, healthcare, gym membership, and career progression.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety management system and EHS laws.
• Coordinate method statements, risk assessments, permits and safety interventions.
• Conduct site audits and COSHH assessments.
• Oversee induction, training and subcontractor compliance.
• Manage PPE, welfare and hygiene facilities.
• Assist with accident investigations and Safety File updates.
• Support daily briefings and waste management programs.

Health & Safety Manager (Data Centre)

Health & Safety Manager required to work for one of Europe’s leading Tier 1 Main Contractors on a large Data Centre project in North West Dublin. The successful candidate will report to the EHS Lead and will be responsible for ensuring safe project delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with the company safety management system, EHS laws, and project execution plans.
• Coordinate and manage task-specific Method Statements, Risk Assessments, permits, and safety interventions.
• Maintain good safety practices through regular site audits, C.O.S.H.H assessments, and hazardous substance control.
• Oversee staff induction, training, and ensure subcontractors adhere to EHS policies.
• Manage project PPE, welfare, and hygiene facilities, ensuring they meet requirements.
• Assist with accident investigations and keep the Safety File documentation up to date.
• Participate in daily briefings and maintain waste reduction and recycling programs according to project policies.

Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience in a similar role.
• A relevant Health & Safety qualification.
• Team player and able to build and maintain relationships both internal and external clients.
• Flexible to change and open to constructive feedback.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
• IT Skills – Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
