Job summary

AllPro Recruitment is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to support the Audiology Service in a part-time role across Dundalk and Cootehill clinics. You will assist the audiologist with paediatric assessments and help create a calm, child-friendly environment for families. Training will be provided.

Experience with children is preferred, and a patient, reassuring approach is essential. Availability for approximately 3–4 days per week across the clinic locations, working as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

Job description

On behalf of our client, AllPro Recruitment are now seeking a Healthcare Assistant to support the Audiology Service on a part-time basis, working approximately 3–4 days per week.

The successful candidate will assist the audiologist during paediatric clinics, supporting the assessment of children under four years of age. This will involve using distraction and engagement techniques to help children participate in appointments and feel comfortable throughout their assessment.

This opportunity would suit someone with experience working with children or a strong interest in paediatric care. Full training will be provided by the service.

Locations

Clinics are based in Dundalk, Co. Louth and Cootehill, Co. Cavan.

Key Responsibilities
