Job summary

TTM Healthcare Limited is seeking a Locum Audiology Assistant to join an Audiology service in County Louth. The role is locum/temporary with pay aligned to the HSE payscale and the level of experience. You will support Audiologists in clinics and administrative tasks within a healthcare environment.

The ideal candidate will hold a QQI Level 5 qualification, have prior experience, and be resident in Ireland with appropriate immigration status. Garda Vetting may be required.

Qualifications

• Relevant QQI Level 5 qualification required.
• Previous experience in Audiology or healthcare settings preferred.
• Resident in Ireland with valid immigration status (EU Passport/Stamp 1G/Stamp 2/Stamp 4/Stamp 4D/Stamp 5/Stamp 4 EUFam).

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Audiologists in clinical and administrative services.
• Assist with hearing assessment clinics and audiology procedures.
• Prepare patients and equipment for appointments.
• Assist with hearing aid-related duties and patient support.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Liaise professionally with patients, families, Audiologists and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain clinical equipment and work areas to a high standard.
• Follow HSE policies, infection prevention and control requirements.
• Carry out other duties appropriate to the position.
