Job summary

Health Care Assistant – Carlow is a permanent role with full-time or part-time opportunities in Carlow, Ireland. The Healthcare assistant delivers personal care to clients in their own homes, following care plans to promote comfort and wellbeing.

Main duties include assisting with daily living activities, following care plans, and delivering care per company standards. Flexible hours and progression opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 modules in Care Skills or Care of the Older Person (or Healthcare Support) or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of caring experience and willingness to complete QQI Level 5 modules.
• Access to a car and full driver’s licence required.

The Healthcare assistant’s primary role is to deliver personal care and assistance to a client in his/her own home. Healthcare assistants are responsible for the implementation of the requirements of the clients care plan, perform identified care duties and promote client comfort, dignity and wellbeing.
